LABC 2020 SEASON UPDATE
After much discussion and reviewing the guidelines put forth by the Governor’s office, the board of LABC is committed to having a 2020 baseball season. We understand and respect that everyone has their own opinions and wants to do what is right for themselves and their family. That is why we would like to offer an opt-out period. This will run ONLY until the end of day Wednesday May 20th and is for PLAYERS and COACHES. We will be providing a credit on accounts for future seasons or refunds for any family who decides to opt out. Only players/coaches who are listed on the google form at the end of day Wednesday will receive a credit/refund. If you have candy bar money out, we will take that amount from your refund. If you choose to opt out, please fill out the google form by clicking this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeJr4UU3nz9Z_Qu8wxs0nCcAiU9CVZlRmqeOfMwpx9aABUIZg/viewform?usp=sf_link
We know some leagues and teams have already decided to cancel for this season. Therefore, we are opening our waitlist for any player or volunteer coaches who would like to participate with LABC if a spot opens up. You may go to labcbaseball.com and click register now to be added to our waitlist. The waitlist will also only be open until end of day Wednesday May 20th.
*Players, coaches, families, and spectators who decide to play with LABC are agreeing to follow ALL mandated guidelines put forth by Governor Mike DeWine and the advisory board. This goes for practices and all games (home and away). Everyone’s safety is our number one concern and these rules will be thoroughly enforced.*
While we all understand that these are uncertain times we are in, LABC reserves the right to modify or change our plans based on future guidance’s. The Governors current guidance may be referenced here: https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/responsible/Baseball-Softball.pdf
